Standard Spanish Course

A short term Spanish language course aimed at those students who need to build on current skills (across all language levels) or who want to learn Spanish as a beginner with an immersion course in Nerja. See Spanish course methodology for further details). A wonderful short term option for adults and students alike. Very popular courses year round, but particularly so in the warmer months of the year. General group lessons cover the Spanish language, culture and civilisation for adults of all nationalities, imparted using the communicative method, with emphasis laid on the performance of tasks that enable real communication processes to be practised and the respective Spanish language skills - speaking, reading, writing and listening - to be put to use. Lessons will either take place in a morning or (sometimes also in the afternoon, generally applies to June/September). Timetable arrangements are only finalised once in Spain, as it depends on student numbers and language levels.
Please note : Early bookings strongly recommended for July/August.
Intensive Spanish Course

A short term Spanish language course aimed at those who wish to build on current skills, in a small college environment on a more intensive, time efficient programme. Ideal for those looking for faster language acquisition (see methodology) and who are willing to work hard both in and out of class! While both course content and goals coincide with those of the Intensive Course, the additional hours are devoted to faster Spanish language acquisition, in line with pupils' specific needs.
As with Standard Course : Early bookings recommended for July/August.
Spanish DELE Preparation Course

A specific Spanish language course aimed at those who wish to prepare for the Spanish Language DELE exams in Nerja, Spain. Courses are offered throughout the year, however the exams are held on set dates May/August/November each year and can be sat in Malaga, and registered through the Spanish language college.

A short Spanish language course aimed at adults, over 50 years of age, who wish to learn Spanish in Nerja whilst studying with their peers. The Spanish language school offers an informal atmosphere and a highly enjoyable social programme. Social activities can include; a sight seeing tour of Nerja, a full day excursion to Seville or Granada, Sevillanas dance classes, a visit to Frigiliana, wine tasting, a visit to a typical fish restaurant, a seminar on bull fighting, a cookery class and a Sevillanas dance show that would give "Strictly Come Dancing" a real run for its money!
Spanish and Salsa Classes

A fabulous opportunity to learn Spanish in Nerja, and shake out those mental stresses with a fun dance course, suitable for beginner to intermediate dance levels and all ages. Dance classes take place in a nearby dedicated Dance School (just 10 minutes walk from the Spanish language school).
Spanish and Flamenco Classes

Combine your Spanish language studies in Nerja with afternoons spent learning the wonderful art of Flamenco dance. You have to try it - a dramatic and moody dance long associated with Andalucia. When done well it's spectacular and if you're not the best dance in the world, at least you will better appreciate the skills of the dance, next time you see a Flamenco show!
